Updated Reading Plan

Don’t skip. You NEED this!

You may have noticed the the reading plan download went from March straight to October. Time flies, but not that fast.

The reading plan wasn’t mine. I borrowed it. But the formatting went wonky. Really wonky. So wonky that I couldn’t fix it. I made a new one as a PDF so no worries about the formatting doing weird things on any device. This is the plan I will use going forward.

If you’re a church member, it’s a bit different than the one our church is using. Not much. I just made a few tweaks to keep content together that makes more sense for a blog.

Please download it here:

I’ve replaced the file in the Introduction for any newbies who happen to visit.

If you’re enjoying the blog – Praise the Lord!

🙌🏼😁🥰🥳

Feel free to share it with people who you think would appreciate a friendly (and slightly quirky) guide for an epic journey through the whole Bible.

I did pay to get the ads removed. I hope it’s working and that it has improved your experience.

You can subscribe to the blog if you like. It’s at the bottom of the page. The WordPress app is free. Totally up to you. If you subscribed in the past, please check to make sure you are still subscribed in case the changes I’ve made somehow unsubscribed you by mistake.

If you’re subscribed I think you can “like” posts. (But only if you actually like them!) I know my mom has. (Thanks, Mom.) Mainly, that is to help me see which posts people enjoyed most. But I assure you my sense of personal worth is not threatened in the least if I get no likes. 😆

I’m mainly doing this because I believe the Lord challenged me to do it. If I can help my fellow saints, why wouldn’t I? When I was praying about it I said, “Lord, I just want it to be helpful to the reader.” (And now you know where the blog’s name came from.)

The process of writing has been dramatically impacting my grasp of the text. I truly hope it’s helping you in a real way. If not, at least it’s helping me. 😉 It has kicked me into a gear of discipline I haven’t had to use since seminary. And that’s a good thing. And it’s a refreshing creative outlet too.

Thank you for the wonderful comments (from those of you who either see me in person or have my contact info). I plan to keep the comments section turned off because I simply do not have time to moderate or respond. I am considering setting up an email account for the blog in case anyone really REALLY needs to contact me and you don’t have a clue who I am or know someone who knows me.

Ok. I think that’s all the news for now. See you back over in the regular blog posts. 🤓
